I worked with Gerry in E 5. He was a great fire officer and an awesome human being. He went on to become the Captain of E 252, then a BC in B 14. He saw his share of fires during his career. I saw him 4 months ago at a plaque dedication in uniform for a former Captain in E5. He was still sharp as a tack and I never saw him without a smile on his face. Rest in Peace CHIEF, job well done. I salute you!
