I've noticed in the past two or three incidents such as odors of gas , car fires , smoke conditions , etc in the area of woodlawn the Battalion 15 has not been responding to these its the 27. I don't know if it's because they're unavailable or out on another run but I was told the 15 was moved to 66/61 because 63 & 39's quarters is being repaired. Anybody know ?

I have heard that 63/39's quarters are being rebuilt, and they are bunking in trailers......not sure if the 1-5 has been moved though.

I asked the guys in the house and they said it was moved to 66/61 and they keep their rigs in the same apparatus floor but the kitchen , tv room , and beds are in a trailer next to the fire house

Batt 15 moved into Qts of E-66 in May.  Originally they lost all boxes (roughly) West of Boston Rd and South of E 233 St.  They picked up the E section of Co-Op City.

After some lobbying by the Batt 15 Commander they got most of the boxes East of White Plains Rd back.

Any boxes they lost were picked up by the 27 Batt.

E-63, L-39 rigs will remain on the Apparatus floor or E-63 during renovation.  The City signed a lease for the property next to E-63 and brought in a number of trailers that 63/39 are now using as their quarters.  There is a door between the trailer's and the apparatus floor.

Will the 1-5 Batt be moving back to 63/39 once renovations are complete, or will they stay where they are?
