0320hrs- PD Command Post at the Arsenal st. Mall parking lot. MSP EOD have confirmed devices and are requesting homes to be evacuated. Req. MBTA bus to shelter/remove residents.
 
0425hrs- Watertown PD advising residents in perimeter to shelter in place and not answer the door. Suspects carjacked a victim in Cambridge and released him. A police pursuit ensued and ended in Watertown, Suspects threw explosive devices and shot at pursuing police. One MBTA Officer critically injured. EOD working on devices left in and near the suspect vehicle. Suspect still at large is suspect wearing the white hat in previously released photos. 

0429hrs- PD with intel that suspects were seen in a dark sedan on Dexter earlier. Units attempting to locate.

0430hrs--475 Arsenal Court, Watertown PD with report of male carrying a backpack (later cleared by numerous units)

 
0433hrs- PD with intel that DOA suspect had bomb strapped to his chest.

0434hrs- PD have a house at 89 Dexter with possible explosive devices inside. Possibly suspect's residence.
 
0450hrs- (3) injured officers at the Boston PD Command Post req. EMS. National Guard at scene.

0715hrs- Tac teams hit suspect's apartment on Norfolk St in Cambridge. At least (1) female occupant removed, resisting.

--Dozens of tactical teams from all over the state operating. 
 
A lot of these incidents overnight don't make a lot of sense.  These guys are obviously very smart and well trained and have put a lot of thought into the original attack, yet now they are going haphazardly.  The robbing of the 7-11, made absolutely no sense!  They should have had sufficient money before the original attack so they didn't need it now.  The killing of the police officer certainly was not in their best interest, either.  Thankfully they didn't kill the owner of the car they hijacked, but that was certainly another error that made it easier for authorities to follow them.

The fact they were still in the Boston area instead of far away from the city also seems like another bad move on their behalf.  Thankfully, maybe their stupidity will lead to their capture or death before they hurt anybody else.

I think once they saw their photos on the news, they panicked. Hence the stupidity. One witness stated that the 19 year old was back at school Tuesday and Wednesday as if nothing had happened. 
 
1900hrs- 67 Franklin St- Watertown: Possible suspect hiding under a boat in a rear yard. Shots were fired and suspect is believed to be hit. Deploying tear gas.
 
1940hrs- Aviation has a visual on susect in a boat on a trailer in the rear yard. Suspect is moving in the boat. Numerous SWAT and EOD units surrounding the yard.
 
Franklin Street, Watertown MA. Suspect # 2 in a boat that has been winterized with a vynal cover. Several shots and muffled explosions at this time.

Swat pulled back and a Robot has been sent in.

Approx. 10 explosions at this time.
