Solo Pizza Ave B E2d and 3d.... only when there's no time for making the meal, or one it beyond salvage. Actually, most of the chow there is pretty good.

I realize this should be a FDNY post but I have 2 national posts. In Chicago, yes there is Pizzera Uno and Duo, but Berwyn, just west of Chicago on Ogden Ave, old Rt66 is Piasans, about 6200 West The other one is from Boston, Union Square Pizza near E41/L14. If you love onions on a pizza go there. I am sure the jakes will give you directions.

My two favorites, Morris Park Pizza. Morris Park Avenue and Amethyst Street, right around the corner from 90/41. Koronet Pizza, Broadway between 110 and 111, a few blocks from 47 Engine.

"FDNY150", I'll try the place on MorrisPark Ave near 90/41 next time I'm down buffing the Bronx.

And for those that just might happen to be in my neighborhood, the old Engine 6 quarters at 195 West Thames St, where I once hung my gear years ago is now a Pizza place called : "Engine 6 Pizza".

And of course what started out in New Haven, Ct in 1925, Pepes Pizza on Worcester St was always one of Connecticuts best. It now has branches in Yonkers, Fairfield and Manchester, Ct and Mohegan Sun Casino. Not quite the orginial Pepes, but still a pretty good pie.

Sal's is great!  A little cramped for space, but the food and service were terrific!!

To 3511, a colleague. I moved to Chicago from Boston in 1979, the day Flight 191 crashed @ O'Hare I think each city has its own style of pizza, I grew up on Union Square Pizza in Allston with extra onions. Mandantory on Sunday nights during kockey season, Bruins in TV38. Just to stray from the beaten path, BEST seafood in the Boston area comes from Legal Seafoods.
