North Stonington FD responded to a reported structure fire at 43 Boombridge Road, not far from the RI border. Based on reports, additional departments were dispatched: an engine from Pawcatuck, FAST team from Old Mystic, engine and tanker from Ashaway (RI) and a tanker from Hope Valley (RI. A canteen unit responded from Providence (RI). The fire was largely in the basement of an unusual dome-shaped residence. North Stonington Ambulance was on scene along with a paramedic from L&M Hospital.
