It is my understanding that all 31 Marauder II pumpers, being put in service as 2008 units, have been delivered.  The next 22 will be delivered in 2009.  Based on the Seagrave website the following 2009's have been delivered: 238, 282, 79, 93, 80, 311, 310, 332, 234, 14, 84,33,318,264,254,16,328, and the latest to 297 in College Point. So 18 of the 22 are in.  The last 4 are scheduled for 217, 315, 74 and 164.
The remaining 18 on the three year contract might start to come in sooner than 2010.

Since we're on this topic, can someone advise what make/model lights are on the roof of these new rigs?  Thanks!

151,152 and 160 are from the 2008 batch the original 30. The list that started this is the 2009 list the first ten or so are in service, the next 4 or 5 have been delivered but not yet in service.

Found an interesting article in Fire Rescue Magazine talking about the FDNY new apparatus committee, and specs for the new Marauder II's.

On the new pumpers...what is stored or carried in the diamond plate boxes mounted on the roof? Is it a dept wide standard location for specified equipment or up to each company what they carry in there?

Some companies put their Water Rescue equipment in there and others use it for HazMat stuff.

The box on the top of the squads have the companies haz-mat suits and some carry 1-hour bottles. As for the boxes on top of engines and ladders are used for haz-mat suits or water rescue suits and other equipment that the company doesnt use that often.

Four more Marauder IIs were delivered to FDNY as of 8/1/09.  They are for E307, E260, E74 and E164.  I believe that these are the last four units expected as 2009 models.

By the way, I believe that 18 more units are due on this three year order, and are scheduled for 2010.  Maybe they will start building them sooner and deliver some in 2009.
