4773 Trenton Court, in Long Grove (35 miles north-northwest of Chicago)
House is reported to have been leveled by an explosion with damage to several area houses.
Reports of explosion heard and/or felt in Long Grove, Vernon Hills, Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Lake Forest, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Wheeling.
**Per zillow.com: house was around 5,000 square feet ...worth around $1 million. News reports as many as 50 surrounding homes sustained some damage from the explosion! No serious injuries were reported.
Unknown how many handlines or master streams were used on the fire.
