Interesting looking idea. As the article discusses, if this is going to supplement regular trucks with heavy equipment coming behind it it makes sense. It doesn't make sense for this to go alone for any type of fire. It would also make sense to have this type of vehicle respond to medical calls instead of the larger trucks that are used most cases here the states. They would save wear and tear on the larger apparatus while keeping yet available to respond instead of being tied up on a medical call.
Dublin Fire Brigade have 2 Advanced Paramedics Vehicles on the road for Urgent EMS calls. Plus their are also cars on the roads with Doctors in them responding to calls. The idea is to send these out instead of having people come to hospital and taking up bed space
Back on topic...id be a little weary of these "Brigade Response Vehicles" as to their long term affect
