Units dispatched to the 300 block of North River Street for the working commercial structure fire in a restaurant. Units arrived on scene to find fire coming out of the roof of a Chinese restaurant. Truck 6 opened up the roof to get at the pockets of fire. 2 L/S/O units made a quick stop on the fire.

WILKES-BARRE — Golden Star Chinese restaurant on North River Street is expected to be closed for at least few days following a late afternoon fire Sunday that damaged part of the building’s roof.
