This Tuesday evening, we will once again take the time to remember and pay our respects to those who perished some 25 years ago on the 11th of September 2001. In addition, we will also honor those who have suffered from the cancer’s that continues to claim lives of the first responders who spent time working on the pile during the recovery phase of the Ground Zero operation.
NYCFire.net will be holding their monthly gathering using our regular Zoom site. Join us as Dave Traiforos returns as the guest presenter. Dave, a well known fire service official in both the paid and volunteer circles in the upper Mid-West came up through the ranks. He is also known as a book author and fire service instructor. Dave will be presenting some of the most significant photographs from Ground Zero days after the attack on America that he had taken.
Gary Greenbaum will also show a few slides that Illustrations the marine resources that responded to help remove workers who were trapped in Lower Manhattan. FDNY marine assets pumped water from the Hudson River provide water to extinguish he fire.
