A LOOK BACK.

Appears to be the third alarm at Brooklyn box 613 (October 16, 1970). That was where Lt. Hamilton and F/F Polera of R2 rescued Lt. Geraghty and F/F Oroskos, who were working in 219 that night, from the cellar after they had fallen in. After the rescue was completed, the foam operation was started. Heckuva night, helluva rescue! Thanks for posting this Chief.

Lt Richard Hamilton gave me my first introduction to the FDNY which I will NEVER FORGET.
It was the summer of 1968 and the FDNY War Years had just begun.
I got to ride with Rescue 2 when they were on Carlton Ave with Engine 210.
I will NEVER FORGET LT Richard Hamilton
He also wrote a book titled; "20,000 Alarms".
