Goes to show that with the additional engine and truck on all hands and special calls for trucks has a lot of companies all at the same jobs. Go from zero to very low first due for February or year to date but shoot to top for total jobs...
Outside of E-151 B-23 companies used to relocate regularly.
Following a bad fire few years ago stopped most relocations for those companies and will fill vacancies with relocators when companies are OOS for medicals/education day/training.

Looking at Google Maps now compared to 1940’s NYC pics this building was one of only few of buildings survived the war years down there. And that school wasn’t there either. Street ran through B to C.

No first hand knowledge of these buildings but was just looking at Google Maps and the address 156 Stanton is opposite side of street from the buildings you’d have to access upper floors off Allen Street, but 156 Stanton looks to have possibly rear tenements behind it in between Stanton Street...
The 60-70’s entire neighborhoods throughout the city were laid to waste. Blocks and blocks that used to be packed with people were burned out and then leveled. Brick farms everywhere.
Mid 80’s the developers started moving in and building.

There were many reasons(financial mainly) and ways developers came up with the overall height of a building and the amount of stories a building was considered. To save money or comply with existing laws at time of construction.
