E-153: PD came by quarters saying there's a fire at 227 Broad St. The house is turning out - 15:41

8 minutes from the 10-75, TL149 is not only on the road relocating, but assigned as extra truck. Impressive. Shows the importance of turning out on a relocation.

At first, when I read there was a VZ bridge box out (which 149 is normally assigned to from the BK side) I thought with L81 unavailable TL79 was the next closest available truck and assigned from the bridge. But now it said they were acting 79.

At first, when I read there was a VZ bridge box out (which 149 is normally assigned to from the BK side) I thought with L81 unavailable TL79 was the next closest available truck and assigned from the bridge. But now it said they were acting 79.

The box on the VZ had 242, 284 & 149 from the Brooklyn side, 161, 152 & 81 from the SI side, 242 confirmed the MVA is on the Brooklyn side, 161 & 81 were operating, a moment after 153 gave the verbal. 149 was probably already/still on the Island when they were sent to 79.
