I have to ask again what is the "New Super Pumper" being saved for? Also, with some many Satellites available why were the Satellite Deck Guns or even the Satellite Manifolds NOT used? Chief's if you need another truck for an advanced, self-vented fire make it a Tower Ladder as well as any other truck companies you may need in the future. For years many FDNY Aerial Ladder companies had mounted on the body of the rig a "Kelsey Mount.: The "Kelsey Mount" allowed a portable large caliber stream, = Miltiversal, or Stang to be temporally securely attached to the body of an aerial ladder or Tower Ladder already in front of the fire building/s. Why have members operate a portable Large Caliber Stream or a 2 1/2" handline in front of the fire building/s when the Large Caliber Stream could be attached and operated from a somewhat elevated position on the body of a ladder Co. This is some other things worth taking another look at.
