Does anyone know what EMS Squads in Nassau County are paid and hiring..
NCPD runs a countywide Emergency Ambulance BureauSo if almost all EMS squads in Nassau have paid crews, why not consolidate into one EMS taxing district, one dispatch center, one training and recert center, one or two main logistics supply warehouses, one fleet repair, larger personnel pool, larger spare fleet, spare stretchers, lifepaks, , Lucas devices, one centralized billing and on and on.
This Might Seem Smart / Easy On Paper... But, The Nassau County EMS System Is VERY VERY Complicated.. Lol.So if almost all EMS squads in Nassau have paid crews, why not consolidate into one EMS taxing district, one dispatch center, one training and recert center, one or two main logistics supply warehouses, one fleet repair, larger personnel pool, larger spare fleet, spare stretchers, lifepaks, , Lucas devices, one centralized billing and on and on.
Could say the same about all the different FDsSo if almost all EMS squads in Nassau have paid crews, why not consolidate into one EMS taxing district, one dispatch center, one training and recert center, one or two main logistics supply warehouses, one fleet repair, larger personnel pool, larger spare fleet, spare stretchers, lifepaks, , Lucas devices, one centralized billing and on and on.
Seems like a good idea. I can only imagine the economic and political “cooperation” required to get this done. Or not.So if almost all EMS squads in Nassau have paid crews, why not consolidate into one EMS taxing district, one dispatch center, one training and recert center, one or two main logistics supply warehouses, one fleet repair, larger personnel pool, larger spare fleet, spare stretchers, lifepaks, , Lucas devices, one centralized billing and on and on.
