That’s an odd oriented building with the park in front. Multiple wings. Best roof access would most likely be on the three side off of Claflin Avenue - across the street from the former Our Lady of Angels School

Former....did OLA school close and when? I know Church of the Visitation closed about 10 years ago but did not realize OLA also.

Yes sadly Our Lady of Angels Grammer School closed about 4 years ago. The NYC school board bought the building and it is now some type of Public School magnet program. Sad. I graduated there in 1973. And Sad about Visitation as well.

OLA closed June of 2013, the church is still open. Visitation church and school closed and property has been demolished to make new housing and public school at former site. The building that started this topic is as stated very long set back from street by a park which causes difficult stretch to just reach entrance, then to find proper stairs to one of the 3 wings which are interconnected. If I remember the CIDS has a truck respond to Claflin Ave side.
