Good morning. This photo courtesy JAD Photography. Looking for some information on the rig. I know it was a 9/11 donation with the boom from an old FDNY ladder, and that it was at Ladder 105 and Ladder 53. Just interested to know how it fared, how it turned out, and of any information on where it wound up?

Thank you; be safe!

Now in Tower Ladder heaven...
Is it me or does it appear that the Spartan Rig had a shorter wheelbase than the Seagrave Cab. Not that I am at all advocating a Spartan Cab. For many reasons stick with the Seagrave. Just appeared shorter.

Bottom line the overall length is all about the same. If you shorten the wheelbase , the swing of ass is increased which effect the turns on the back end. It’s a blanching act between a short wheelbase and the swing of the ass end on turns. have to find the ”sweet spot“. The new Seagrave are right there !
