I have used these - one should be on every FDNY Engine company. Just like the high rise nozzles have migrated to all engines

My bad. It wasn’t the HR nozzles. It was the cockloft nozzles that I heard were going to be placed on all engines. Maybe it’s a near future plan. Thanks for the clarification. Hope you are doing well.

They had a mass issue in the fall, and I believe all engines now have one.

There great for a lot of things. Hazmat would be another, where you can set it up and let it sweep large lpg tanks and keep the crews out of potential blast/bleve areas or an area that may be unstable. Its one of those things that took someone long enough to figure out.
