Fire in basement, laundry room of a 20 story multiple dwelling 10-77 transmitted

Both Rescue 1, Rescue 4, Squad 18 all at this box

Squad 41 being relocated to Squad 18 due to Rescues 1 & 4 & Squad 18 operating for a prolonged period of time at this box

2nd alarm transmitted companies have been operating for 2 hours in the basement for a laundry room fire, the fire is in the walls and possibly gas fed. Rescue 1 & Rescue Company 4 are operating with their core cutters to break through the floor and walls to expose the fire. ConEd Gas is on scene attempting to shut the gas. SOC Compressor is also operating.

Around 10:15 there was a mayday for a member out of air and needing assistance. He was quickly found and assisted out of the area.
After that they removed members and started working on the core cut and requested another rescue.

Just as a point of interest, I've been told that Squad 41 has not relocated to Squad 18 in over 10 years.

Interesting relocations there.  TL41/35. 41 all the way to Lincoln Center. Dispatchers all over the city must have been hopping.

Thought I also heard on the afternoon roll call that L38 and another Bronx unit wereWhat operating at Box 1427, which is at 3rd Avenue and 120th Street. Was there another job up in Harlem or did I hear it wrong?
 
Posted some audio from this fire. At about 8:30 into the clip you can hear a mayday for a member out of air and lost.  Prior to the mayday member called and stated he couldn't find the door out of the fire area.
