In regard to what Magic said, is/was 27 assigned first due to this box? ...considering the Bronx normally respects each other's boxes when it comes to being 1st/2nd due.

I think this is a great idea if staffed by 2 guys from EMS, almost like an ems 'fly car' driving around the boro taking in runs to free up engines

Not sure what your problem is but you said to look at the #'s of other divisions and then company stats as well. Both prove that the 15th is the busiest. That's not to say that's the only busy spot in the city, but as a whole the 15th is a busy place. Nothing to get upset about.

Was there any ‘discretion’ in the 111 relocation or was this one randomly chosen again…lol

I think the "discretion" he is talking about is seeing the same units being relocated and then sent to the job. For example, it's no secret that 111 is being relocated often and then sent into the job. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's up to the dispatcher who decides the relocating company...

Crazy how 111 goes as the extra truck on the first alarm while 214 sits in quarters and never gets assigned to the 5th alarm. Even with 206 being assigned first due on the second while only being 1.2 miles away. Just goes to show how close by all those engines are over there.

To add to this, a beautiful historic church in Cleveland also burned to the ground yesterday. I also always wondered if those church fires started by unattended candles were really arson, as someone could just 'accidentally' knock it over and walk away.

Speaking of animals, anyone have a rough idea of how many houses still have dogs in quarters these days? I can think of some off the top of my head, maybe a dozen or so? Some most notably being L20, E74, L176 (who all happen to be dalmatians)...

Wouldn't be surprised if they made 1st, maybe 2nd. Doubt 93 ended up 4th due here considering they were assigned just as the box came over the air
