I’m not Positive but going back to what I’ve listened to in the 1960’s it’s always up to a 5-11, then you always hear “special call 4 engines”. Boston goes up to like 9, but I don’t believe they get nearly the resources the FDNY gives on additional alarms

Think of it how Chicago does it. All their alarms are “5-11 with 2 special’s” for example
