EMS Station has been closed since Hurricane Sandy and I am told that FDNY has had to give up the space.
One of the problems is that some of the EMS Stations are on HHC land such as Station 10 which was in the ER area then moved to it's last location but still under control of HHC.

Seems the union has issues with the current Span of Control being too great I can remember times when you had 3 conditions cars south of 125th street if you were lucky.
