There are photos of it being used as a spare for ladder 101 some years back but other than those first few years its probably been sitting as a reserve since only being taken out every so often for maintenance and other miscellaneous stuff.

I agree I liked the old era big department decal on the doors and such. Wasn't a fan of the decals after 2002. Random but since we’re on the topics of decals, was wondering if anybody knew why they switched from having “FIRE” on the side compartment doors to “FDNY” starting in 2008.
I'd be surprised if we saw 01/02's in a few year's time still being used. At the rate they have been auctioning half a dozen every two or so months. I estimate there's only under two dozen 01/02's left in the fleet including reserve ladders. Not sure about 05/06's they made up a fraction...
In 2020 Ladder 12 was using their old 02 95' Tower Ladder. I believe after their 1999 Seagrave was involved in an accident they received BOT/Ex Ladder 85's rig until they got their 2012 TL.
Looking to see if anybody has photos or information relating to what seems to have been an accident involving 22 truck in a spare sometime within the middle of 2021. At the time they were using a 02 Spare Tower Ladder.
The Spare Currently Used by Ladder 5 (Ex Ladder 104) SL02007T is the "Oldest Tiller Spare" in the fleet. The one at the rock at the moment is strictly there and not in the spare pool unless for emergency use. Then again, if they ran out of tillers in the spare pool they could use Rear-Mount...
