    FDNY and NYC Firehouses and Fire Companies - 2nd Section

    I believe the comment from the 44 Aide, Seymore Schenker, was directed to TL-120.    120 was the Only individual company to do over 10,000 runs in 1 year, in 1971.  There were many 2nd sections But, only 1 company has that distinction. Capt JC (ret) FDNY TL-120 Brownsville,  Brooklyn

    ANOTHER WAR YEARS VET PASSES.

    Worked with the "Strap" when I was a young Fireman in L-48 in the late 70's & Early 80.  He was a larger then life figure.  I am deeply saddened.  94/48 is having their Centennial on Nov 1st and I look forward to see the older members who taught me about the Job.
