E 180 St is now the home of the FDNY Fire Alarm Dispatchers Training Unit. Where new dispatchers are trained and current ones go for annual education day, retraining etc.
I believe it was
294,293,308,236
142,142, 126F then after 107 became available he switched to queens and they made him the FAST
BC51, 50
4,270
13, Rac 4
As said it initially was the minor then major added hence why 227 transporting the collapse rig.
Also 132 having to all that way East to then go north to the box would take too long. It is now nearest unit transporting the collapse rig, which is why 227 does it alot.
A few photos...
I believe due to the CIDS and sizeups TLs were put into the area. Could not put into 127 due to the proximity to the fire. If the rigs cant fit in the firehouses they def have enough room outside them.
Just a correction: Queens told the 13th they received a EAB from Squad 270 roof. The 13 told them it was due to a injured member who was being looked at by EMS. Squad 270 Roof hit it for another FF.
