Incident Location: 37 Hamilton Street
On the night of Monday, August 14th, 2023, the Rockville Centre Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Hamilton Street off Burtis Avenue. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with a fire on the first floor of a two and a half story private dwelling. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and a FAST requested. Oceanside was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 244. Reliance Hose Company No. 3 was the first engine company to arrive on scene, stretched two hand lines, and put one hand line into operation. The fire was quickly knocked down before it could extend further. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and Rockville Centre Chief of Department Scott Mohr [4401] had command of the incident. (Text Credit: K2M).
