I just googled the ISO ratings of City of LA and the County of LA and I believe they both have been downgraded to a 2 but interesting I googled Chicago and they are a 1.
I remember reading an article as to why the FDNY has a different thread and why it stayed that way, way back then. Today it would be a HUGE cost in changing all standpipes, hose couplings, outlets etc. Does anyone know where I can find something telling that story.

The truck chauffer could not operate the pumps because he is operating the turntable, as per safety needs when the bucket is out of the cradle the chauffer must be on the turntable. If he's running the pumps, then he can't be running the turntable and then the bucket can't be used. Therefore...
