    New Rescues in Production

If it is the place where the ambulances have passed through over the past couple of years that would be Campbell supply in south brunswick NJ and it is best seen from the truck lanes of the NJ turnpike heading north (just north of exit 8a)

    Foam Tender

I would have to think maybe the MERVs now unless they were replaced and I have no idea. Like MERV 1 last I know of was a 2004 bus.

    Foam Tender

Think you are mistaking the foam tender with the foam engines. The Foam tender is a 1992 Mack with I think 2 or 3 foam tanks each 1,000 gallons. Shame to see it is gone if that is truly the case.

    9/11/2020 Staten Island Box 0460

    This might explain the line up of fire trucks seen on Seaview Ave yesterday (9/16). Sq8, R5, TSU 2, E159, 160, 161, L81, B21, D8 around 1400

    9/12/20 Brooklyn 5th Alarm Box 3847

How often do you actually see SI units (besides R5 and D8 catch work in brooklyn at a fire that is not the Verrazano bridge?

    New Seagraves

Drove around by the dealer and 326 is there. Couldn't make out much more. There were a few other engines in the back as well as a tower. Also of noted a few scrapped retired FDNY trucks were out around the back of the dealer from the side road. A rearmount, a tiller, and tower.

R5 was running their new rig today.

    New Seagraves

FSD likely means spare pool. 165 had no markings on the rig but where the numbers were for 40 on the doors was empty space.

    New Seagraves

Signal73 is right. Couldn't really take pictures. It was not the right time or place to start whipping out a camera phone. E165/L85 were out on a special somber moment.

    New Seagraves

Any issues with these new Seagrave engines? The 2008s that have been replaced are already seeing action in the spare pool. Getting lettered FSD on the back where the engine number used to be and at the bottom of both rear cab doors. E-165 has E-40s old rig.

    Battalion / Division Cars

Not sure what happened to it. As of the most recent photos seen B44 is running a 2011 Sierra with the standard set up.

8/21/20 Staten Island HazMat Box 3945

I've seen them over at the Stop and Shop on Hylan which is way closer. Laughed when I saw them. The guys said it was a long ride but not bad going lights and sirens. The drive back they estimated at 60-90 minutes.

    New Seagraves

Wonder if these are all going through the Seagrave dealer in East Brunswick NJ? That place was the best place to be around in 2005/2006 when nearly everything was Seagrave. Used to see some really nice stuff there as it got prepped for delivery or was in for warranty maintenance.

    FDMV using FDNY ladder

I don't know what the usual truck is, but this is a loaner from FDNY according to what is posted on the Mount Vernon facebook page.

    FDMV using FDNY ladder

Any pictures? Is it the 2002 one? Did the FDNY keep the 9/11 Seagrave medallion on the front between the grill and the front windows?

8/21/20 Staten Island HazMat Box 3945

I'm sure HazMat 1 was really upset having to turn around and not make the long trek to SI.

8/19/20 Staten Island All Hands Box 4849

Did E153 get a call while relocating to E162? They were running lights and sirens down Hylan Blvd during this time.

    7/28/20 Staten Island 10-75 Box 2065

E161/L81 is 21st bat. Box assignment is a mix of B21 and B23 companies.
