I'm fairly certain the boxes with series from 3700 and up in Brooklyn were used where land fill and farm land was finally developed alot of 3800's in the red hook area
East 21st is East 21st until it actually changes on the street sign much farther north than Foster, 21 is also the only block that doesn't cross Flatbush Ave
The East 20's to Bedford all used to be named Streets... and along Farragut the old names are on the street signs under the numerical name...I assure you no one working in the neighborhood uses those for the street designations
Wasn't critiquing just looking for some insight, which you provided, thank you...I also wasn't insinuating that L-165's chauffeur(s) don't know what they were doing
I'm not from an aerial so please bare with me...what advantage does it give to come in almost perpendicular to the building? I see the tree but if you just leave the turntable clear of that you're ok. Not Monday morning quarterbacking but if the front is a bit more open the fast truck or tower...
If this is NYC wide and not just staten island then I would say the fact that everyone has cell phones and the amount of people out during the day...especially the last year and a half being home all the time has contributed to those numbers
If anyone has any information about 5 truck from the mid late 70's please message me, my grandfather was extremely tight lipped my grand mother still has no idea where he worked as a fireman
