Several groups of protestors marched on various parts of Manhattan throughout the day. Numerous arrests have already been made.

1500hrs- 1,500 OWS protestors merging groups at Union Square. Large group at 5th X Waverly surrounding PD.



 
What are they actually protesting about?  If it's about the killing of Osama a year ago they certainly need to get a life!  Preferably some place other than in the United States.
 
Just  as a point of reference today is 1 May, AKA May Day. Similar protests here in the Windy City. GG

It's worse... the occupy wall street.
 
Special call a couple of FDNY Satellites and rinse them away like E158 did to some rowdy teens a couple of months ago. ;) ;D
 
1831hrs- 652: Companies to expect extensive road closures south of 14th St in Manhattan due to protests. Expect delays in area.
 
Arrest them but do not book them in the Precint of occurrence..... bus them to South Queens..... book them there & when released let them walk back to Manhattan.
 
At least it wasn't as violent as it was out on the West Coast.  Our East Coast hippies may smell, but at least they didn't destroy buildings this time.
