What should have been a 5-man engine found a heavy fire condition at the top of an H-type, and 4 guys had to stretch with delayed companies coming in behind them. 

Great job by the men, but its a miracle that whole family didnt get killed.

They were a 5 man Engine, but the Officer and the Chauffeur are not in the stretch, so it was the other 3 firefighters who made the stretch. When Engines had 6, 4 were available to stretch.
