Fire Location: 1564 Taylor Avenue at East Tremont Avenue

Fire in the basement of a multiple dwelling.

Sq61 4th Due

L-54 Fast

B-18 Corrected address is 1565 Thieriot Avenue rubbish fire in the alley with extension to the basement. All Hands going to work

G-Man in effect Sq61 normally 3rd due cleared from a run assigned 4th Due

The last time 3063 had a 10-75 the unit assignment was:

E45 - E90 - S61 - E64 - TL58 - TL41 - TL54(F) - B18 - B20 - S41 - R3 - D7

I'm sure the BARB assignment is probably different; and if the G-man is in effect it's probably even more.

What exactly is the g-man affect?

To quote the Guitarman (a regular contributor here on nycfire.net) himself:  "...it's sort of a "Murphy's Law" regarding responses. Nowadays there are so many reasons why companies cannot respond to calls ranging from out on another call or relocating to another house, Building Inspection, training at the "Rock", M.U.D.(multi-unit drill), Medicals, and Decon just to name a few. My rule of thumb is if you know a company that's going to be out of service then you can bet there's going to be a job nearby."

Thanks, I see it all the time here and always wondered what it was.

You are very welcome.  Anything that I can do for a man whose videos (along with the Majestirium's and FDNY8231) I enjoy so much!!
