Coastal flooding inundates parts of New York City after storm

Looks like Coleman Square by the train station. My grandparents had a business towards the right of that picture. My aunt also said Crossbay was closed between 162 Ave and 164 because it was underwater.

^^^^ Yes Coleman Square ....people were kayaking by there this morning.

I'm not surprised. When I lived up there, it wasn't uncommon during events like this people would be boating or kayaking in the streets of old HB. I've done it more then a few times. Took a friend of ours who retired from 285 to his boat at the HB boat club to check on it because he couldn't make it by car.
