Battalion 9: We're getting reports of a diesel generator on fire at the end of pier 94. We have a trade fair in progress here. We're using 2 and 2 the rest FAST investigating at this time.
Marine 1 gives a 10 minute ETA.
7-5-901 - 10:01 hours
BC9: We're in the process of getting a line stretched out to the end of the pier, we have a diesel generator at the end of the pier that is on fire, we have a light smoke condition. There is a trade fair in progress, it is still in progress; the smoke is blowing out into the Hudson.

Pier 94 @ W54 st - converted to convention center, Class 1 1 story 400x750 w/ steel membrane, insulated roof, and dry standpipes.
10:15 hours - Duration 29 minutes
Division 3 reports Probably will hold. Fire has been knocked down. We have 2 convention workers with smoke inhalation, primary searches complete and negative. We are not evacuating the center at this time.
10:29 hours - 43 minutes
DC3: Secondaries complete and negative, under control. Have reps from the Ports of America company and ConEd electric respond for water leaking onto an electrical panel. We are releasing the 2 Marine companies and going down to 2 and 2.

DC3: All units are in the process. We have contacted a rep from the Ports of America Company. Notify DEP that less than a gallon of diesel fuel spilled into the river. Division 3 is 10-8.
