Back to back jobs for Rescue 5 and Division 8 this morning and quite a distance apart too. About 12 miles from SI AH in Mariner’s Harbor to this fire in Bensonhurst - almost all highway though.

I won't post it here, but there is a video online of the member being struck by the A/C unit. Second hand information is that he has a broken leg, broken shoulder, and a TBI. A TBI can mean anything from mild concussion to much worse. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.

I just watched it myself. It’s not pretty. Prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

Damn that's bad. He's lucky his neck wasn't compressed or broken he could have been paralyzed. I never liked working under window a/c units in backyards for that reason. Hope he makes a full and complete recovery.
