Report of a fire at St John's University.  Fire is in a six story 150x250.  Possibly "DaSilva Hall".  (Office of Health Services)

That was the correct Box Number.
It was reported as Silver Hall, fire in the bedroom. 6 brick isolated building.

Yes fire was in a six story residential hall, with Health Offices, facing the GCP and 168 Street, overlooking Red Storm Fields.  Campus map says its DaSilva Hall.  Original report has Silver Hall.

Speaking of "Halls," a friend of mine is a graduate of St. John's.  He liked a drink or two, and to tell a story or two - he said that if he ever got rich he would donote money for a building or "Hall"    Wanted it called "Alki Hall"

Alki - Hall was actually located on the N/S of Union Tpke just east of Union Tpke. It was called Poor Richards Pub! The other Alki Hall frequented by many St John's students along with yours truly was Sam's located on the N/S of Union Tpke around 188th St. They had better prices for their pitchers as well as a better buyback policy than Poor Richards. As you got older you graduated from Poor Richard's to Sam's Both of these places are now long gone.
