This may have been the “Slab” luncheonette a very popular teenage hangout in the 50’s and early 60’s - across the street was the White Thorn Cafe and barber shops and a pork store (Karl Ehmer or Trunz) can’t remember which one

Love hearing what places you guys remember at places through the years.

1940s nyc site shows a pizzeria called Albert’s which houses a pizzeria to this day. Sure there was a few name changes through the years.

And the fire building showed a pic of soda/candy/luncheonette possibly called Broadway Confections as written on awning in front. Stayed a coffee shop all these years
