What is the criteria for dispatch informing the I.C. that a 2nd alarm needs to be struck after a certain amount of special calls?

Used to hear that a fair amount from dispatch in the past, but haven't heard that recently. Did that policy change?

After the 5th Engine they have to go to next alarm adless it’s a CFRD Engine and or for Relief Purposes but then it would have to be PWH if it’s for relief. They can special call as many trucks. And I am pretty sure a Asst Chief & above can make that order.

Thanks! Anyone know why CFRD was s/c here? Were there 10-45s? or just in case due to gas/unstable structure?

The CFRD engine was called to assist FAST Truck due to life hazard and it being a Taxpayer maze conditions. ADC wanted to have them work together.
