Then I gotta ask within the Response area of the FDNY? I know 63/39 Kinda get caught between Mount Vernon and the City line from time to time.

How in the world was FDNY first due on the ticket there? At least 2 other towns in the way before they get there.

Does E70/L53 leave City Island? Seems like they might be closer than some of the other companies

Well the house was technically in the bronx, it’s a dual response not mutual aid

There’s like 6 boxes over there that are dual responses on the border

They do not. Just to the Park i believe

I was thinking the same thing. If not, poor E70/L53 not bring able to catch a box so close to them. Looks like they're 2nd due on Google Maps.

I would think 89/50 would have a faster shot going up Shore Rd than 62/32 coming across.

So again the Call came in thru Westchester Dispatch Why not assign Your own Units? Pelham Manor? Are they staffed or Volunteer?

The FDNY and PMFD have a long standing mutual aid agreement for this street. If I recall, one side of the street is the city, the other is in Pelham Manor. The same applies to Park Drive, and a few other addresses in that area.

More often then not, the PMFD gets dispatched first and 60 Control (Westchester's dispatch) notifies the Bronx. PMFD usually handles the routine stuff and ends up returning the Bronx companies. I think there have been a few jobs over the past few years along that street where both FD's worked side by side.

As a side note, apparently there have been a few big name NYC politicians that lived on Elm Tree Ln as its a legal NYC address but basically you're in the suburbs.

Sounds like E66/L51 got in 1st due
E66 gave 10-75
L61 cleared Box 4346 & replaced L39 on Box 6603 (L39 assigned as Fast truck on 10-75)
