Fire on the 2nd floor of a 6 story 50x150 MD.

Box loaded up. PD reporting a barricaded EDP lit fire to his apartment.

1736 - Bn. 12 - 10-75 the box. Fire on the 2nd floor, Apt. 2C.

L-28 FAST

1740 - Bn. 12 - Per the PD, the perp is still in the apartment. We're making entry at this time.

1741 - Bn. 12 - Extra Engine and Truck (E-60, H&L-40). (All Hands)

1743 - Bn. 12 - We have water on the fire. Trucks are opening up.

1745 - Bn. 12 - Primaries are complete and negative in Apt. 3C, on the floor above. We are bringing out a 10-45 from the fire apartment.

1746 - Bn. 12 - The 10-45 is code 2 and is with EMS.

1750 - Bn. 12 - Primaries are negative on the 4th through 6th floors. Secondaries are in progress.

1752 - Div. 6 - 2 L/S, 1 L/O. Primaries are negative on the 2nd floor except for the fire apartment. DWH

1756 - Div. 6 - All primaries are complete and negative. PWH - Duration 26 minutes.

1812 - Div. 6 - Under Control - Duration 43 minutes.

An off duty member of Engine 277 shot a photo of a cat leaping off a fire escape of a building off Broadway in Brooklyn. This was around 1970. Engine 233 was advancing a line up the fire escape and the photo was featured on the back of the Saturday Evening Post.
