Fire on the 1st floor of a 14 story irregular MD.

2335 - Bn. 44 - Using 2x2 for a fire in the elevator on the 1st floor. Someone lit a piece of furniture, fire is knocked down.

2337 - Bn. 44 - Transmit the 10-77. Fire extended to the shaft, there is smoke throughout.

L-176 FAST

2343 - Bn. 44 - Fire is knocked down, primaries are negative on the 1st floor.

2353 - Bn. 44 - All Hands

0009 - FC per Div. 15 - AVFKD, checking all stairwells and elevators.  PWH - Duration 35 minutes.

E-227 was added as a 4th engine in the initial assignment (probably just had come off another box in the area).

TL-105 was assigned for Vent Support (I don't know where 124 was).

Used to be the sport, light it up & send it up.  I believe a member of 132 Truck got the JGB Medal at the Ebbits Field Houses from a fire that originated in the elevator car, opened up on a upper floor and blow-torched down the hallway.  People were hanging out the windows on the 20 something floor.
