Remember Snake Hill very well. When I got to 59 Truck in mid-1981, we had a Tiller Rig. Driving the tiller, going down 177 St, towards Jerome Ave was a challenge. Especially if the LCC wasn’t cooperating that well. Then had to make a turn, usually a right onto Jerome and try not to hammer into one of the pillars holding up the El.
