The 21 is with Engine 162 asking SI for engines to go down to Cedar Grove. There are working hydrants they can hook up to and try to stop the fire from there.

Engine 160 still at Hylan & New Dorp Lane, SI directing them to that box (with the 21)

Tower Ladder 85 is at Fox Lane @ Cedar Grove - going to set up their TL.

Fire down by Cedar Grove is approaching the street threatening a few houses

Engine 164 & Ladder 84 might be on the 2nd alarm before 163 & 83. Also 160 was assigned earlier before the 2nd, told by SI to meet up with the 21 at Cedar Grove as they were still responding

The 33 reports houses are not on fire. The fire is still about 100 yards out from the house. Engine 253 acting 165 is sticking around with a watch line, all other companies on that box are 10-8.

Been watching from a high rise in Coney Island (8miles away) since about 1:45pm---not start time but when first spotted the black smoke.    Right now (3:18pm) a smaller cross section of original fire view remains, with mostly light colored smoke, which once in a while darkens.    (3:28pm)--Nearly completely out, small cross section of white smoke.  (3:48pm)  Despite the sounding of a 5th. Alarm a few minutes ago,( this must be for relief) since smoke down to a trace from my vantage point.
