They are allowed to use the same box number for 2 separate incidents.
If 2 separate incidents come in at the same time for the same box they'll change it to a 9000 numbered box I believe

Think so. I heard box 9999 in Coney Island the other day when there were 2 boxes in the same NYCHA complex.
