I had a few jobs on Rikers always felt like someone might decide to take an FD Member hostage especially in a smoke condition when most regular correction Officers were not walking around like they were when we were conducting routine inspections or drills etc.

And in December the Dept of Corrections will have the vaccine mandate forced upon them. That will be a disaster and huge unnecessary danger for COs.
