12/11/22:

At approximately 08:45, reported fire at 18 Belden Court. Battalion 5 arrived on the scene reporting a fire in the basement. A working fire was transmitted, which brings in a mutual aid ladder company from Waterford, Submarine Base FD FAST, and Groton Ambulance in addition to all NLFD units already on the scene.

On the initial assignment: E1, E2, E3, T2, A100, A200, BC5. Both the Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector were requested to respond by the Chief of Department.

According to New London Day newspaper, second fire was a rekindle of the first one. Long time between the two, but was smoldering debris.
