Back in the day, Box 418 was definitely the most frustrating box in our response area. We were (are) quartered at 222 East Second Street...this fire is at 29 East Second Street....literally 2 blocks west of quarters...and we don't go. Was no FAST truck back then. 28 was (R)...third due. Could literally stand on the apron and critique the job...lol.
