Definitely could have used another engine or two for another line or atleast relief, lol. 4+ hours is absolutely insane. Can't help but notice the NYPD car running over the line 🤦‍♂️

What does Bronx 5-7 Signal indicate? Thanx in advance.

Tip o da helmet to 39 and 143 who busted their asses on this shitty job. Some great hook work opening up the side of the trailer.

Interesting they pulled L143 from 101-02 Jamaica Ave to this job in the Bronx especially a Tiller subbing for a RM

Yes sometimes you have to wonder what the thinking was behind programming the CAD assignments and relocations. I get that you don’t want to strip entire areas of companies so you go to outlier areas for relocating. Up to a point. Going from L103 to the 19 Battalion on a relocate during rush hour? And I get selecting companies close to highways. In this case at that time of day 143 straight up Van Wyck to GCP over RFK bridge and you are there. But….. tillers are put in certain neighborhoods for a reason. In this case what about 126, 127 or 151 who are actually closer to highways ….if you want to pull a ladder company from that area. Again I would love to know the reasoning and criteria purely from an educational point as there may be many other factors that we are not considering. But as long as the members are safe and the check machine dosent break - all is good 😁
