**Note** Heavy overhaul work continued for quite some time. The incident was closed out at 2041 hours on 12-21-07, according to dispatch printouts.

Porstmouth Fire Dept: Career Dept., Full service with ALS ambulance transport, cross-trained dual role personnel with some part-time single role Paramedics. Population about 95,000 About 20 sq miles, 9 Engines, 3 Ladders, 5 or 6 Ambulances (not sure), 2 field Battalion Chiefs. 3 of their Engines & 1 Ladder are designated as "Squads" due to added capabilities & functions.
