The job was originally transmitted as "121 street and 14th Avenue for a fire in the VFW hall". As the 52 Bn. was being dispatched, from another box, they stated that the VFW is at 121 street & 14th Road, which I had been sitting here saying to myself. QD then raised 297 to verify and I guess it was the ECC who said where they were and 10-75 the box. That Post is on the n/w corner of 121 and 14th road just one block from 297/130 quarters. Years ago, on the n/e corner was a "Chicken Delight." Remember the jingle, "Don't cook tonight, call Chicken Delight."
